SPORTS acupuncture
Incorporating concepts from both traditional and contemporary acupuncture, Sports Acupuncture involves a combination of orthopedic treatment and Eastern Medicine techniques to treat injuries and disorders common among athletes. Though they may seem like super-humans, athletes aren’t immune to injuries, pain, or stress. Sports Acupuncture utilizes, but is not limited to, needles, cupping, electroacupuncture, and manual therapy. It can provide improved circulation, promote muscle relaxation, and connective tissue elasticity. It also offers injury prevention and treatment, enhanced energy and endurance, and accelerates recovery. (The techniques of Sports Acupuncture can be applied to injury recovery and post-surgical recovery for any individual, not just limited to athletes.)
